Heath Ledger was born on the 4th April in 1979 in Perth, Australia.

There he lived until his 16th birthday, when he left school with his best friend to

start his career in New York City.

Heath was married to Michelle Williams. Together they had a daughter named Matilda Rose.

Ledger had his film debut in 1997 with the film „Blackrock“.

Some of his most famous films are for example, „10 things I hate about you“, „A Knight´s Tale“,

„The Four Feathers“, „Casanova“, „Brokeback Mountain“, „I´m not there“ and „Batman, the dark knight“.

Heath also got a Golden Globe for the best actor in the category Drama in the film „Casanova“.

But on the 22nd January Heath Ledger was found dead in his apartment at 421 Broome Street in Manhattan, New York.

Some doctors concludet that the manner of his death was an accident resulting from the abuse of prescription medications.

Insiders also say that Heath suffered from depressions, colds and related ailments because of his role as „The Joker“ in „the dark knight“.

In an interview Heath explained that he couldn´t sleep anymore and that he couldn´t stop thinking about „The Joker“. His body was exhausted and his mind was still going. So Ledger started to take Ambien pills.

In my opinian Heath shouldn´t have died so young, because he was one of the best actors of his generation.

I will never forget last Saturday!!  My friend Kathi and I went to Gresten. There we saw about 14 groups off „Krampusse“

[I don´t know the english word ]  and we were really scared. 6 off them hugged me!! And you know , they really stink!!

One group also had a kettle,

were they burned fire, and almost everybody coughed.

And at the end of this festival there was a big firework.

On the one hand, it was very exciting, but on the other hand, I was really frightened of this creatures!!

On Friday the 2nd of  November Sophie, Steffi , Kathi and I visited a concert in Vienna. We left Steinakirchen at 12 o´clock midday and drove to Vienna. There we first went to the „Maria Hilfer“ street, which is in the centre of Vienna, to do some shopping. It was really great because there are so many shops and we all love shopping. At 6 o´clock my friends and I stood in a very long queue, which was in front of the cityhall, where the concert was taking place. We also got to know some nice twins from vienna.

At 18:30 the police opened the doors of the hall and all people ran into it as quickly as possible because they all wanted to stand in the first row. However we were only standing in the 8th or 10th row..

After a while the first band began to play . „Mindless Self Indulgence“ , coming from the USA.

But while they were playing, everybody was excited for the „real“ band, „My Chemical Romance“.

When Gerard Way, the singer of this fabulous band, came onto the stage, everybody cried and shouted very loud.

When they were singing, everybody was dancing and having a great time.

Nevertheless they played their last song after one hour and a half and we had to go home again.

                                         I will never forget this concert because it was so powerful and great!!!

My name is Sandra Egger. I´m 13 1/2 years old and I live in a very small town called Steinakirchen in Austria. That´s between Amstetten and Wieselburg. But I think that nobody knows it anyway.. ..

I go to school in Wieselburg and after the 4 th form I will go to the BAKIP in Amstetten. That´s a school for social jobs. When I am older I want to have a job with kids or babies… I love them… )

 My hobbies are horse riding, music, singing and my band. The band is called “ Never the Less“ and our first song was called „Hold me“ . My friends and I sang it at a festival in our school and all the people liked it very much.

I have also got a horse of my own, Wendy. She´s about 1.70 metres tall, 6 years old and very cute and nice. She loves it, when we go jumping.
